Well the British Heart Foundation website is up and running and already we have donations for around £400 after the first day which is fantastic you are all so generous. We will be starting the walk as soon as the school holidays start and various members of the family will be doing different sections, some have said they will do the whole walk with me which will be great. Having done it last year for fun I found it one of the most enjoyable long distance walks I've ever done. With it being relatively close to home I found it just as easy to do one section per day then carry on the next section when time allowed, but with having the luxury of holiday time I might look to do it a bit quicker this time. As soon as we get underway I'll keep this blog updated so you can see our progress and laugh at the photos.
Once again thanks for your generosity the British Heart Foundation is a fantastic charity and you never know when you might be benefiting from their research yourself.
